TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

We kindly ask that you carefully review these booking conditions, as they constitute the exclusive terms and conditions governing the agreement between you and Spirit Seeker concerning your reservation for our spiritual weekend.

 

A 'booking' refers to any confirmed invoice of reservation sent via email or post.
 

1. Your Booking

1a. Prices

Please take note of the following pricing policies:

  • All prices listed are per person and are in pounds sterling, unless stated otherwise.
  • We retain the right to modify or amend prices at any time prior to your booking.
  • Once your booking has been confirmed, and we have received payment from you, the prices are guaranteed and will not be subject to change unless an amendment is requested.


1b. Deposits and Payments

Here are some important points regarding your booking with Spirit Seekers:

  • Deposit payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Your deposit secures the quoted price unless changes are made to your booking.
  • Your booking is considered confirmed only after you have received confirmation from the Spirit Seekers team via email.
  • Full payment is due four months before the event.
  • Failure to complete full payment by the designated due date may result in the cancellation of your booking, with the loss of your deposit.
  • You have the option to make your balance payment via credit/debit card or PayPal using our United Spiritualists Confederation Ltd account: PayPal Link. Alternatively, you can also consider setting up a regular standing order payment arrangement between now and the due date.

 

1c. Amendments

Please take note of the following regarding changes to your booking:

  • Changes to a booking may be feasible if requested more than 8 weeks before our event, but these changes cannot be guaranteed.
  • If amendments are indeed possible, there will be an amendment fee of £50 per person applied to cover administrative costs.



1d. Cancellations

Spirit Seekers (LAD Promotions) enforces a rigorous cancellation policy, and if you decide to cancel your booking, the following conditions will be applicable:

  1. If the cancellation occurs less than four months before the scheduled event, 100% of the fee will be due, and all deposits are non-refundable.

  2. In specific circumstances, we may review the situation and attempt to arrive at a reasonable resolution. However, a full refund cannot be guaranteed, and the decision will be made based on the circumstances and merits of each individual case.


2. Traveller

Please note that in the event you do not attend any part of your booked holiday, the entire holiday cost (100%) will still be charged, and no refunds will be issued. Cancellations and potential reimbursement of fees will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, contingent upon extenuating circumstances and the submission of appropriate evidence.

Refunds or partial refunds will only be considered for medical reasons, provided that the client adheres to the terms and conditions and furnishes the requisite documentation to the company. Clients canceling due to medical reasons must inform the company at the earliest opportunity. If a cancellation is made with at least four months' advance notice, a refund of up to the full booking fee (excluding the initial deposit) may be possible, contingent upon the submission of complete medical evidence. Cancellations made with less than four months' notice will not be eligible for any refund.

Please be aware that in all cases, medical evidence must be provided, as the company will not assume responsibility for refunds without the appropriate documentation, given the expenses involved. Additionally, you have the right to request a refund within 14 days of booking, in accordance with consumer laws and a cooling-off period. This does not affect your statutory rights.



3. Changes made by Spirit Seeker.

In the unlikely event that we need to make significant amendments (e.g., changing event dates by 6 hours or more, downgrading accommodation, etc.) or cancel your accommodation, you will have the following options to choose from:

i) You can book another event organised by Spirit Seeker, paying or receiving the difference in price if applicable.

ii) You may choose to cancel your Spiritual weekend and receive a refund.

iii) You have the option to accept any amendments made to your Spirit Seeker weekend.

Please be aware that we will inform you of any amendments to your Spirit Seeker weekend event. These changes are made due to circumstances beyond our control, and we reserve the right to implement them. We cannot be held liable for forced cancellations or alterations resulting from adverse weather conditions, acts of God, fire, floods, terrorism, civil strife or riots, war, strikes, airport closures, or any other unforeseeable circumstance constituting force majeure.



4. Travel Insurance

We highly recommend that all individuals listed under your booking obtain travel insurance, as Spirit Seeker and our team, staff, and volunteers will not assume responsibility for any liabilities, losses, or expenses you may encounter. We strongly advise the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking, which should include coverage for amendments or cancellation charges in accordance with our policies.

5. Our responsibility

Spirit Seeker and its dedicated team, including volunteers, act as booking agents representing Charlecote Pheasant Hotel. It's important to stress that we cannot be held responsible for any illnesses, physical injuries, or loss of life experienced by you or any individuals listed under your booking, except in cases directly attributable to our own negligence. Our primary commitment is to ensure that the essential components of your Spiritual weekend align with the standards described in your booking at the time of reservation.


6. Your responsibility

Please be aware that you are personally responsible for your actions and the behavior of all members listed under your booking. If it is determined that any member of your party engages in conduct that causes offense, distress, danger, damage, or annoyance to other guests, staff, or property, we reserve the right to terminate your spiritual weekend/booking immediately. In such cases, we will not assume responsibility for any party member, and our contract with you will be terminated. This will result in the forfeiture of the full cost of the spiritual weekend, without any compensation or refund, and you will be responsible for any additional expenses incurred.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health and have consulted with a medical professional regarding your suitability for participation in our Spiritual weekend. Additionally, you are responsible for informing us of any medical or health conditions that may impact your ability to participate in our events. Failure to provide this information may result in the alteration or cancellation of certain aspects of your Spirit Seeker weekend. Spirit Seeker, its team, staff, volunteers, and guests will not be held responsible for any consequences arising from your failure to disclose such information.

Please take note that we do not operate 24 hours a day and do not maintain an emergency out-of-hours contact. In the event of an emergency, our contact details can be found at the bottom of all our website pages. Consequently, we cannot be held liable for any costs incurred due to missed travel arrangements. If you encounter an urgent situation, please leave a voicemail, and we will respond as promptly as possible. For training purposes and your own security, please be aware that your call may be monitored and recorded.


7. Problems and complaints

If you encounter any issues or have a complaint during your time at our Spirit Seeker weekend, we kindly request that you promptly bring it to our attention. This will enable us to address and resolve your concern as efficiently as possible, ensuring that your experience is as enjoyable and satisfying as it can be. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are here to assist you in any way we can.

8. Payment

When utilising our online payment booking system, we offer the option to pay through PayPal, which accepts credit and debit cards as a form of payment. Additionally, we accept other payment methods, including checks and bank transfers, to accommodate various preferences and needs.


9. Your Holiday

Please be aware that all program inclusions within your weekend experience are subject to potential modifications by our partner, Charlecote Pheasant Hotel. While we make every effort to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information, Spirit Seeker and its team, including volunteers, cannot be held accountable if our partner has made alterations to or removed certain inclusions without our prior notification.

Schedules and the events/classes themselves are under the management of Spirit Seeker and are detailed on our website. This includes scheduled events, classes, and the option for private 1-2-1 bookings. Please be aware that these are all subject to possible changes, cancellations, and availability. In some instances, it may be necessary to book events and classes in advance through our website. If complimentary events or classes are canceled by the host/presenter, please note that Spirit Seeker, its team, volunteers, and affiliated speakers/mediums cannot be held responsible for these cancellations. We strive to ensure that your Spiritual weekend inclusions align with your original booking, but there may be situations where this is not always feasible.


10. Disclaimer and Liability

Spirit Seeker team and SPtv including their staff (admin, producer), editors and volunteers accept no liability or damages for the content being broadcasted via its social media platforms or live demonstrations, private one to one readings and events during the Spirit Seeker weekend. Each presenter/host including guests remain 100% responsible and liable for their own ability, skills and expertise including any comments or messages given to the recipient, be it false or mis-leading. Should you have an issue, please contact the presenter/host/reader personally. However, if you feel you need to speak to us, we are always on-hand to assist where possible, sometimes it can be simple as a misunderstanding.

Spirit Seeker, its team, volunteers, and guests will not be held liable for any events or private activities outside the hours of 7am and 11pm (UK time). Events arranged outside these hours will be the sole responsibility of the person/people/company presenting or hosting any activity.

Spiritual Psychics TV, its team including producer or volunteers, will not be held responsible for any events, and/or activities including private readings, or anything arranged/relating to or on behalf of the Spirit Seeker Spiritual weekend event as organised by/with Wimbledon Spiritualist Church or LAD promotions, including website content, images/photos, wording/ database, GDPR, or any other type of media such as video or audio. Presenters that broadcast on Spiritual Psychics TV, and that are present at the Spirit Seeker weekend events are fully responsible for their own actions, be it visible and verbal, SPtv will not be liable for any reason what-so-ever.
 

11. Photography and Filming

Please be aware that photographs and audio-visual footage will be captured throughout the Spirit Seeker event. These media may be used by the Spirit Seeker Team and Spiritual Psychics TV (SPtv) for marketing and promotional purposes in our publications, on our website, social media platforms, and potentially for live broadcasting via SPtv channels. If you have any concerns or prefer not to participate in this activity, please do not hesitate to contact us.

While we welcome attendees to take photos during the weekend, we kindly request that you turn off flash photography to ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for all participants. Filming of events is strictly prohibited throughout the entire weekend unless explicit written permission has been granted.

When you book your spiritual weekend through LAD promotions via the Spirit Seekers weekend website, you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions, which were last updated on October 6th, 2023 (updated terms).
